[artificial intelligence] and its impact on personal branding

remember that vision of the robots taking up arms and moving against their creators to take over the world... is it here?

you may have heard about recent developments in artificial intelligence - including platform names like ChatGPT, GoogleAi and NVIDIA. these platforms now produce accelerated automation and task completion with machine learning to enhance areas like content generation, chat, automation and image creation. the question is - will they improve these areas or just complicate them? Early stage exploration suggests these tools are growing in value and effectiveness. so its interesting to know how this technology can be applied to personal branding development and implementation.

personal branding development:
in the context of generating personal brand strategy and frameworks for brand development - there is still progress to be made. modern thinking for personal branding is very much about the authenticity of the individual. in some respects, an ai interface developed on the basis of a multitude of variables pertaining to a multitude of people would seem like the wrong tool to be used for such a unique project.

however, the goal of ai seems to be to develop an understanding of its user and their quirks, orientations and values. real success in ai over the long term should therefore be the development of virtual assistant services that know us as humans as well as we know ourselves. as individuals, and not as a collective.

implementation:
its certainly clearer in terms of the process of executing your personal brand that Ai tools will have a significant impact, and have potential to streamline areas like content creation and reputation management in short time.

in relation to content management - whilst many of the tools currently available still require considerable input - they are a great starting point for a draft or to generate a base for further development. in that respect, they have potential to reduce a significant investment of time - already. and they are learning and refining every day.

media including videos and reels were previously the domain of specialists but are evolving to allow amateur participants to create surprisingly good production standards. ai should see this evolve further to make the process even easier. rather than slaving over an editor for hours - a handful of words entered in the right format will see the production moved into the hands of the bots, and a starting point produced in no time.

adoption into reputation management seems like a natural pathway - processing of millions of bits of information to find data that fits a specific criteria. easy peasy. we are yet to see solid results in terms of reputation platforms, but integration has begun and will evolve rapidly.

the forecast:
as a forward-thinking and progressive organisation - we are reviewing and have been testing the best forms in which to incorporate Ai resources into the development of our own clients strategies. we see the current evolution of the Ai integration as the single-biggest event since the original inception of the web. the question lingers though - what will the real impact of these tools be on data creation, and brand management.

we know for sure that Ai tools are likely to support a surge in content and data creation. an easier process and less time spent equals easier to produce content. that however does raise the issue of the quality of content. the noise is already unbearable. any person with a keyboard and 5 minutes will be able to contribute more easily than before. sure, this is great for supporting peoples online expression, but will this contribute value in terms of insights or a just a myriad of opinions?

perhaps the second major stage of this evolution is the adoption of Ai resources to purport noise reduction. perhaps the very tools that will allow a plethora of data to envelop the web, will also be its saving grace? it may be that the very technology that creates the log jam may also be the saviour of its access. here's to hoping the technology will also be smart enough to filter through the noise to give us a continuously improving web and platform experience.

time will tell, but lets have some fun exploring in the meantime.
